Isenly Terms of Use
Last updated: 18 October 2026These Terms govern your use of the Isenly app. By creating an account or using it you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2.What Isenly is
Isenly is a personal finance app that lets you record transactions, budgets, accounts, savings goals and expenses shared with other people, working offline and syncing across devices.
Isenly is a recording and organisation tool, nothing more. It is not a financial institution, it is not a payment service, it does not hold money, it does not execute transfers and it does not connect to your bank accounts. All information is what you enter yourself.
3.Eligibility
- You must be 16 or older to create your own account.
- Children under 16 may use the app as members of a shared space administered by an adult, who is the account holder and is responsible for that use.
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
4.Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out from your account.
- If you detect unauthorised access, tell us immediately.
- You can delete your account at any time under
Profile → Settings → Delete account, in either app. The account is the same in both, so it is deleted in both.
6.Receipt scanning with artificial intelligence
- Data extraction is automated and may contain errors: misread amounts, incorrect descriptions or missing line items.
- You must review and confirm the result before saving it. Responsibility for the data ultimately recorded is yours.
- We do not guarantee any level of accuracy or the continued availability of this feature, which may be changed or withdrawn.
- How the images are processed is described in our Privacy Policy, which you should read before using this feature.
7.Isenly is not financial advice
The reports, charts, budgets, projections and any other information shown in the app are for information and organisation purposes only. They do not constitute financial, tax, accounting or investment advice. Any decisions you make based on them are your responsibility. Consult a qualified professional where needed.
8.Acceptable use
When using Isenly you agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Upload unlawful or defamatory content, or content infringing third-party rights.
- Access accounts or spaces belonging to others without authorisation.
- Attempt to breach, overload or reverse engineer the service.
- Automate access to the API without our express permission.
- Impersonate another person.
If you find abusive content in a shared space, you can leave the space, remove the member if you administer it, and report it to js.tl.2803@proton.me. We review every report and may suspend the accounts involved.
9.Content and intellectual property
Your data is yours. You retain ownership of everything you enter. You grant us only the technical licence needed to store, process, synchronise and display it to you and to the members of your shared spaces, for the purpose of providing the service.
The Isenly software, brand, design and content belong to their owner and are protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable licence to use the app in accordance with these Terms.
10.Service availability
We work to keep Isenly available and functioning correctly, but the service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. We may carry out maintenance, change features or temporarily suspend the service.
We recommend that you export your data periodically. Although we keep backups, we cannot guarantee recovery of information in every possible scenario.
11.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. In particular, we are not liable for:
- Financial decisions you make based on information in the app.
- Errors in data entered by you or extracted automatically from a receipt.
- Debts, non-payment or disputes between users of a shared space.
- Failures of third-party providers we depend on.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, nor the rights granted to you as a consumer under applicable consumer protection law.
12.Price
Personal use of Isenly is free. Some features of the Isenly app are part of Isenly Pro, an optional subscription; the app shows which ones. If we add features to Isenly Pro, we will tell you in advance, and features you already have will not become paid retroactively without notice.
- Purchase and price. Isenly Pro is bought in the app, with your App Store or Google Play account. The price and length of each plan are shown before you buy, and the store charges them to your account.
- Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancellation. You manage and cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or from “Manage subscription” in the app. When you cancel, you keep Isenly Pro until the end of the paid period. Deleting your Isenly account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds. The store does the charging, so refunds and the right of withdrawal are requested from Apple or Google, under their terms.
13.Suspension and termination
You may stop using Isenly and delete your account whenever you wish. We may suspend or terminate an account that seriously breaches these Terms, with prior notice unless the severity of the breach or the law requires immediate action.
14.Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms. If a change is substantial we will notify you within the app or by email before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service and delete your account.
15.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence and you retain all rights granted to you by consumer protection law. You may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
16.Additional terms for the Apple App Store
When you download Isenly from the App Store, the following also applies:
- These Terms are concluded between you and the owner of Isenly, not with Apple. Apple is not a party to this agreement.
- The owner of Isenly, and not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide maintenance or support services for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory compliance or consumer protection claims.
- If a third party claims that the app infringes their intellectual property rights, the owner of Isenly, and not Apple, is responsible for the investigation and defence of that claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo and that you are not listed on any restricted party list.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
