Money that doesn’t spiral.
Isenly is the friend in the group who keeps the accounts straight: clear, calm and trustworthy. Here’s its short story.
Why it exists
Money slips out of sight. Yours is in the bank, the flat’s is in one app and the trip’s in another, and it leaks away in small things: three euros for a subscription is nothing, until it’s twenty. When money is shared, what’s still owed weighs more than the amount, because nobody wants to chase a friend for money. Isenly brings all of that together in one entry.
Where the name comes from
Isen comes from isentropic: a process in which disorder doesn’t grow. With the English -ly, Isenly means “in a stable way”. And there are more layers: in Old English, isen is iron, and in Norwegian, ice. Firm and calm, the way we want your money.
What we believe
Who makes it
We’re a couple from Madrid. We wanted to keep the household accounts without arguing over who had paid for what, while each of us still saw our own. We couldn’t find an app that did both, so we made one.
